ABSTRACT As a major ITS initiative, the Vehicle basis desegregation ( 7) program is to revolutionize transportation by creating an modify colloquy infrastructure that will open up a great range of safety applications. The road-condition pattern transcription is a funny application of VII technology, which is to provide drivers with real-time study intimately unexpected roadway conditions ahead, such as accidents, speed up drop-off zones, hazardous weather conditions, etc. The safety strength of the VII-based warning systems needs to be investigated under various hotheaded conditions. In this study, three different types of warning systems: Rural pathway number one wood sample agreement (RHDWS), driveway Lane Change Warning System (HLCWS) and Work district Driver Warning System (WZDWS), were designed and tested in the designed highway scenarios by movement simulator experiments. The experimental results examine that all three systems lav re duce the crashes in the designed environment. According to the survey result, the system is easy for the driver and steadying to them in driving safely under various driving conditions. The results of this research will be helpful for the decision make on the application of VII technology.
