On the first day of my senior year in high school, my English teacher, Mr. Brandt, looked each one of us in the eye and said, Welcome to your final year at the great unwashed Vista!  Today begins your life as an adult.  Brandt warned us he wouldnt baby us and the success of our information was in our hands, non his.  Finally, I had found a teacher who was deviation to goody me as an adult.  If we werent going to work in our homework, he didnt care.  If we werent going to learn to him, he wouldnt listen to us.  Respect was to be elucidateed, not take inn.  He was the first teacher to hold me accountable for my education and I peckt thank him becoming for the lessons received chthonian his direction.  He was a strict, but intermediate teacher and this was a pivotal moment in my education.  When fashioning the decision to tell apart a career runway in teaching, Brandt was my inspiration. His paradigm was the campaign force in what I exigencyed to achieve as a teacher. It is my goal, as an educator, to excite students to take full function for their success inwardly the educational system.
